Arguably the BEST theme park in Europe, Walibi World is located outside of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. It is about a 6 hour drive from Stuttgart.
Goliath is one of the stars of this park. Standing 46 meters tall, the first drop drops you at a 70 degree angle! Then you are dropped through a horizontal loop which almost tops the thrill of the first drop. Second to Goliath is the Xpress which shoots you to 90 km/hr is 3 seconds then whips you through several cork screws. They also have a drop tower, a wooden roller coaster, a hanging roller coaster and one that pulls you up, releases you, pulls you up again and releases you to go backwards. Overall, 5 big rides!
Not to miss are some of the non-coaster rides. Il Gladiatore is a mix of the Scrambler and Tilt-a-Whirl and was long. And G-Forge will keep you back in your seat as you circle upside-down into the air. Be sure to bring a strong stomach.
Note: This is the only amusement park that left me shaking after every ride. We took a 6 hour drive to get up there which was worth every single minute!
