Theme Parks in Germany/Europe
In general theme parks in Europe do not have the same standards as in the states. The main purpose of going to a theme park in Europe is not to get thrown around until you puke. Instead, it is about spending a nice day riding some rides, watching a few shows, and not losing lunch.
Still, there are a few rides that will really shake you up.
In general the German/European theme parks are really enjoyable. If you have kids and need a break from all of the history and boring buildings that tend to typify Europe vacations, why not take a day break and go to a theme park.
Because German school kids only get a month of vacation in the summer, there are plenty of weekdays when the parks are not packed with people and lines stay short.
